Raffle Winners!

As a testament that my sleep schedule is still a bit wonky, I fell asleep last night right as I started the raffle drawing.  Oops.

Now that I’m a bit more coherent this morning, the raffle has been completed and here are the winners:

Andrew Gordon
David Shaw
Lawrence Holtzman
Krzysztof Niski
Ann Schattle

I’ll be contacting the winners today via e-mail.  Thank you all so much for donating, and I’ll be sending all donators a personal note as well.

I’m awake and moving again

Yesterday was a recovery day to say the very least.  I’m not in perfect shape, but I had no idea how taxing the marathon was going to be.  18+ hours of sleep later, I’m feeling much better now.  Here are a few more pictures that I’d wanted to post during the marathon but couldn’t due to my camera’s battery dying on me.

And in the heat of the marathon I totally forgot to fix some peas for the awesome Fish Pie. So here’s a proper picture of the dish.

Raffle information will be going out today. Again, thank you everyone for your generosity!

I’m thrilled to announce that we raised $725 for the foundation!

Absolutely mind blowing.  I’d never have expected this kind of generosity when the idea of cooking 24 hours straight crawled into my head a few days ago.  Thank you.  Thank you everyone.

Thank you David Holtzman, Paul Czarkowski, Jennie Y. Chen, John Knox, Marshall Wright, Susan Gayle and last but not least at all, my lovely wife.

Tomorrow I’ll hold the raffle to see who wins the autographed copies of Hank Shaw’s new book.  I hope everyone will understand the minor delay.  I’m a little tired.

Good night.
